About Us
Founded in 2000, Desert Angels is a Tucson-based non-profit organization of accredited investors that seeks opportunities to invest in Southwest United States regional and national startups and early-stage companies. We represent a network of active angel investors, who have invested over $65 million into more than 165 portfolio companies, across more than 240 rounds, together with 12 Sidecar funds.
Desert Angels is also a founding member of the Angel Syndication Network, active in the Southwestern and Western United States of America for 25 years.
The Desert Angels have consistently been recognized as one of the most active angel groups in the country and, since 2018, has been ranked #1 in the Southwest and in the top 5 angels organizations in the United States of America according to the ARI HALO reports for sequential years. The Desert Angels is a charter member of the Angel Capital Association, the trade association of angel investment groups in North America, and today represents over 270 angel investor groups and funds.
